Some of the finest, grandest Cotswold barns are found in
this part of the south-east Cotswolds and our barn lies between Eastleach,
famous for its thousands of daffodils growing wild by the river Leach, and its
two Norman churches and Southrop, whose ancient church has a magnificent stone
font.

The barn is in a tiny hamlet just off the A361 between Burford and
Lechlade-on-Thames, an hour and a quarter’s drive from
junctions 15 and 16 of the M25 and Heathrow and 45 minutes from junction
11a of the M5 at Gloucester.
The Manor House in Southrop is home to the Thyme Cooking School and both
villages have pubs which are easy to walk to across fields from the barn.
The Swan pub in Southrop has been chosen as Pub Restaurant of the Year by
Which Good Food Guide and after walking by our stretch of the River Leach,
over a stone bridge and through a field, within ten minutes you can
be having a drink or meal at the Swan – favourite of Kate Moss,
Gary Barlow and many other famous local residents. But most important
is the barn’s setting in exquisite gardens.
